Rye sourdough bread

Rye sourdough bread. German Rye, German Wheat, and German Spelt flours are added to give you a rich blend of a rustic dark bread.

This sourdough bread is great with a little bit of butter (and some chives), or topped with a yummy egg salad or just slices of boiled eggs. Great also with your favorite cheese or Quark.

Recipe for Quark: 1 pack of cream cheese, a little bit of milk for a softer, smoother consistency (about a quarter cup). Mix with handheld mixer or Kitchenaid. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, 1 shallot or small onion, chopped finely, one or two garlic clove(s) chopped finely or minced. Add herbs like parsley and/or chives and reserve some herbs for decoration.
